Maine, photo #2

It was a perfect day. A little crisp, but working up a sweat kept us warm!

i'm back!!

Hello all!

Again, I don't have much computer time, but I managed to hop on a couple blogs --- the ones that I can remember off the top of my head, anyway, since I lost my favorites and, therefore, lost access to some blogs altogether. But, I do remember Sylvia's, Yvonne's, Chris', Andrea's, and Erin's addresses, so I'll be able to keep in touch with you guys ..... lucky you :0)

Boy, a lot of posting has been going on these past couple weeks! Can't wait to catch up completely and, of course, get my posting going. I do not have a computer of my own yet, but we are shopping for one this weekend. The only reason I am on, and able to get a fairly lengthy post in, is because hubby is in Atlanta on business, so I've got his laptop for a little while.

I've been hearing a few comments at work lately. These comments have been made by my contacts. They are all favorable and they say how nice I am. HA HA HA. Boy, do I have them fooled. Can't wait till I tell hubby about the compliments. Hope he doesn't have a stroke.

Hope you are all doing well. Don't forget about me, and keep checking my blog!!

Gotta go.......

Just a quick entry to say hello! My computer crashed. Won't be able to save it, so it's shopping for a new computer. More pictures of our Maine trip when I'm set up again.

(having to "borrow" computer time is driving me nuts --- but since I don't have access to a computer most nights, I'm getting a lot done around the house!)

Maine, photo #1

Technology never ceases to amaze me. Remember the days of mailing film to get developed? What did that take, something like 3-4 weeks?? - if you were lucky. How many, like me, have lost pictures that way? how upsetting is that?!

But now, we have one-hour development. I flew in last night, arriving home at 11:00pm, went to work today, dropped my film off during lunch and, wa-la, picked up my photos on my way home tonight.

Here's one that I quickly scanned, so all interested (what's that, 2 people?! lol) don't have to wait any longer for a peak into our trip to Maine.....

more to come...

P.S. To the skeptics: yes, we were in the canoe in the water... and, yes, this picture was taken when we came back to shore... and, yes, we remained dry :o) Hard to believe, I know...
