Went on a second interview. They are looking at me for two different positions - go figure!

So the waiting game continues.

Not entirely sure I'll accept even if one of the jobs is offered to me. My dilemma: the company is located in Atlanta and would be a tough commute. (Anyone who knows anything about Atlanta knows the traffic is terrible in and around the city.)

Well, we'll see if there is even a reason to worry about the commute...... I don't know when I'll hear something.....

Yesterday my sinuses were bothering me bad. I never, ever had allergies .... now, apparently, I do. They say a lot of people develop them as they get older. Great. Another sign!

Networking

I have to start networking to get another job. I'll survive the one I'm currently in for the time being... but, I have to start the search for something else. This area (metro Atlanta) is all about who you know, though.

Anyone out there have any connections?!

OMG... my husband has to start traveling NOW.

We spend way too much money when he is home. I thought the granite countertops were bad... but, today, we purchased a flat screen t.v.

Although, I'm the one who gets to enjoy it most of time... since he's on the road so much. LOL So, that was actually a great purchase. hee hee hee

I arrived home to my husband saying he feels like going to Fudruckers for dinner tonight.

I'm there!

I had a funny thought as I drove home from work today. I subconsciously raise the volume on certain songs. Then it hits me: Twenty years later, and I'm still raising the volume on the same songs I listened to back then.

So I'm thinking, "Will I be doing that when I'm 60? ...how about 80 ?!!" Little ol' gray-haired lady cranking the volume to classic rock. LOL

I pulled into the gas station tonight and couldn't believe my eyes. So, when I pulled up to the pump and got out of my car, I glanced over at the woman on the other side of the pump. Yup, that's what I thought I saw. She was leaning up against her vehicle READING A BOOK while waiting for the gas tank to fill!!!! I've never seen that before! I even think I heard her laugh.

Is the book that good that she can't put it down at all? I hope she wasn't reading while driving!
