Yes, it has electricity. One interesting fact about the kitchen ... it has two apartment-size stoves; one electric and one gas, so that if the electicity goes out, you can cook by gas ... and if the gas goes out, you can cook by electricity.
This cabin is only used during June/July by the family. The only source of heat is from one fireplace. And, let me tell you, it was FREEZING sleeping upstairs (top two windows were our room). But the view out those windows was spectacular.
Wait, why are we going back into the rough mountains of northern Maine next year and NOT back to this paradise?!?!
